This wonderful property is set in a lively village and architectural reserve, close to Gabrovo in central northern Bulgaria. The village lies in the middle part of the Balkan Mountains, 15 km east of Gabrovo, 40 km south from Veliko Tarnovo . It is noted for its well-preserved Bulgarian National Revival architecture and history, and is thus a well-known tourist destination in the area.

The property consists of two apartments. The first is a 2 bedroomed apartment which sleeps 6 people. There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, shaver socket and is fully tiled. The main bedroom with double bed has a door leading to balcony which has outdoor furniture and stunning views of the hills.

There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with hob. Dining area to seat 6 adjoins the lounge which has a sofa bed. There is a twin bedroom as well. The other apartment consists as well of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge.

Property Details:

Four bedroom house with two lounge dining rooms, two bathrooms and two kitchens. There is a balcony to both upstairs and downstairs. The property is currently used as two self contained apartments but can easily be converted back to one very large house.

There is a large garden to the house both walled and gated. The house comes with parking space. The property will be sold completely furnished including bedding and electrical items.

Activities

25 km to the south-west of Gabrovo, amidst unique natural scenery and spectacular relief, lies the largest glade in the Balkan Mountains – the Uzana Glade. The geographical centre of Bulgaria is right here, and it is signposted. Uzana spreads over a vast area of the mountain at an altitude of 1120m, reaching to an altitude of 1400m in some places. It is characterized by a clearly expressed mountainous relief, by long and steep slopes and high ridges, facilitating the development of winter sports.

The availability of ski-lifts of different levels of difficulty, places to rent skiing equipment, as well as the variety of hotels, recreational homes and mountain lodges, make the area a favourite winter resort.
There are also plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and alternative tourism in the summer. Several eco-paths have been built in the region. The rich biodiversity of rare and protected species attract environmentalists and lovers of nature from far and wide.
