Traditional Bulgarian Properties
Bulgaria's distinctive traditional architectural style was formed during the country's Renaissance period in 19th century also known as the Bulgarian National Revival. Characteristic features are graceful curved bay windows and ornate wooden ceilings, slate roofs and stone walls.

Rural Land
Official figures from the National Statistical Institute (1998) indicate that arable land, permanent crops and grassland constitute 6.2 million hectares, about 55% of the total country area. About 69% of agricultural land is arable, 3% permanent crops and 28% grassland. Approximately 30% of the agricultural land is currently not farmed, which is a reflection of the depressed state of agriculture following the change to a market economy.

Villas
Villas are extremely popular with vacation seekers for the privacy and comfort they offer. There are two major types of villas for sale in Bulgaria: newly built (or off plan) villas and villas in need of refurbishment (or rebuilding) offering long term investment opportunities. Villas also vary in style depending on their geographical location: seaside villas are generally lighter and more modern in design, as mountain villas are often more solid constructions, able to withstand the harsher winter weather.
Mountain Estates
Real estates situated in the mountains are particularly intriguing to travelers who love nature, tracking and winter sports. More than half of Bulgaria is hilly or mountainous and the country has an average elevation of 480 m.
